Cargo Move Config form
Use this form to configure CHE equipment required to move general cargo within or outside the facility using various carriers (rail, vessel, gate). The equipment required to move the cargo depends on the nature of the cargo and the From and the To positions. For example, if you select the position type as vessel, you must configure the appropriate point of work (POW) and the carrier type. If you select the position type as yard, you must configure the appropriate yard block where the cargo must be placed. You can add the che types for the POW or yard block in the Move Che Types tab (on page 1).
If the From Position Type is Yard and To Position Type is Train, the Work Instructions with planned Position Type ‘Train’ and WiMoveKind ‘RailLoad’ are listed. If you add other filters, the list is filtered further based on the Point of Work and Yard Block values. In this case, the Carrier Type filter is disabled.
If you create the Cargo Move Config with From Position Type ‘Yard’ and To Position Type ‘Railcar’, the Work Instructions with planned Position Type ‘RailCar’ and WiMoveKind ‘RailLoad’ are listed. If you add other filters, the list is filtered further based on the Point of Work, Yard Block and RailCar Types values.
When you select the To POW or From POW in the Cargo Move Config form, N4 displays the Cargo Job Lists in the Cargo CHE Job List view only if the Move CHE types CHEs belong to the pool associated with the POW.
For the Move Che Type with Sequence 1, N4 considers only the From filter values (From Point of Work, From Vessel Class, From Yard Block). For the Move Che Type with the last sequence number, N4 considers only the To filter values (To Point of Work, To Carrier Type, To Yard Block). For Che types in between the first and last sequence, N4 considers either the From or To filter values.
To restrict jobs to all CHEs irrespective of the sequence, you must provide the same POW value for both the From and To filters.
